Help with the private beta
The beta is run by a small team. Reach your beta coordinator for anything the notes below don't answer, and include the Race name and roughly when the problem happened. Never send passwords.
Contact
Your beta coordinator shared a contact address alongside your tester link. Use it for access problems, safety concerns during an outdoor Race, privacy requests, and bug reports. For an urgent safety matter outdoors, contact local emergency services first.
Good bug reports
Phone model and OS version, app build, whether you were online, what you expected, and what you saw. The app keeps opaque Attempt identifiers you can copy from the Attempt summary; they help us find your records without you sending any location data.
Common questions
I registered but never got the verification email.
Check spam, then sign in and request a new one. For your safety the response is the same whether or not the address is registered, so if you mistyped it, register again with the correct address.
I opened an Invitation link and see nothing about the Race.
Invitation links grant nothing by themselves. Sign in with the exact email the Organizer invited and verify it; the preview, Accept and Decline then appear. If you signed in with a different address, the Invitation stays invisible on purpose.
The app would not let me start.
Start needs an Open Race, your active Participation, a frozen Route, precise foreground location, a verified offline map pack, free storage, connectivity, and qualifying location at the Start Post. The preparation screen lists exactly which of these is blocking.
I lost signal during the Race. Did I lose progress?
No. Progress is saved on your phone before it shows, labelled “Saved on this device” until the server accepts it. Keep the app on the same phone; when connectivity returns it syncs automatically. Progress cannot be continued on another device.
Can I pause an Attempt?
No. The clock runs from Start until Finish, End Time, or abandonment. If you abandon, there is no Result, and only the Organizer can authorise one fresh Attempt while the Race is still Open.
Where is the Results Board?
It appears for the Organizer and retained Participants after the Race closes. Your own Result is visible to you immediately after the server accepts your Finish.
How do I delete my GPS trail?
In the app, open a Completed or Abandoned Attempt and choose to delete its evidence. The deletion is permanent and does not change your Result.
